This past weekend we debuted a ground breaking service style "Instant Messages" and it was great! We experienced the Spirit at work in each service! All of the Scripture passages that were drawn at random had a common thread. While each service had a different through line, they were all inspiring and encouraging. The worship music selected weeks prior to the service, without any knowledge of what services were going to be based on, blended beautifully with the Scriptures that were eventually chosen. It was evident that God’s hand was at work throughout the entire weekend.
Because the IM weekend was so successful, we are doing it again! The next IM Service is July 11&12 and here is your chance to get involved.
Here’s how it works: We are asking people to submit Scripture passages no longer than 6 verses with a brief question pertaining to that passage. You can do this ahead of time by clicking on the light blue comment icon below or at the IM Station in the foyer. Make sure you include what service you will be attending. At each service three submissions will be drawn and those scriptures will become the basis for the sermon during that service.
